Architectural design & technical development
Walter Sousa’s background brings together architectural education in Portugal and experience in design, drafting and precast detailing.
His work spans concept development, spatial planning, feasibility studies, interior design and the preparation of technical and production drawings. Three-dimensional studies and careful detailing support an approach that connects the initial idea with the way a project is developed.
White Design provides a home for this work: a portfolio of architectural proposals, interior studies, modular design experiments and research into more sustainable urban environments.

In 2012–2013, Walter was invited to join a proposed research group led by Paulo Alexandre Teves da Silva, exploring expert systems in architectural design certification. The associated funding application was not successful.
His documented technical experience includes AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lightscape and Photoshop, alongside graphic presentation tools. The work combines drawing, modelling, visualisation and written research to communicate ideas clearly.
